Board-certified by both the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Pao practices general Obstetrics & Gynecology primarily from Medical City Dallas, but also offers a few services out of Park Central Surgical Center and Doctors Hospital Dallas. Her services include routine, as well as high-risk pregnancy care, well-woman exams, management of abnormal pap smears, menstrual disorders, evaluation and management of infertility, menopause and osteoporosis. She has obtained certification as a clinical bone densitometrist and offers sonography and bone density services in the office.

Although born in Singapore, Dr Pao has lived in Dallas for as long as she can remember and considers herself a native Texan. She graduated from Bishop Lynch High School and received her Bachelors degree in Chemistry, cum laude, from North Texas State University in Denton. Before going into medicine, she worked at the Mobil Oil Field Research Lab where she was co-author on several patents arising out of her work in tertiary oil recovery.

Dr. Pao resides in Dallas with her husband, cat, and an enormous number of books.
